Ok in terms of news, it is very tragic that Avatar is over, and what a journey it has been. Its hard to imagine that its only been a year that we have enjoyed in the Avatar world whilst most of us have waited for the better part of 3 years to see this amazing ending. And whilst there will be no more Avatar, (so no guys no season 4) I am very happy with the ending. There is still much for us to look forward too, like the live action movies coming out each one on a season of avatar, hmm 2010 well its something to look forward too.
In terms of Avatar I mentioned the creators would end the story in season 3 and they do own the rights so no new avatar without their ok, I remember them stating that they didn’t want Avatar to be one of those shows that had no real end and point but just kept going. As an Avatar fan I can understand everyone’s sadness, however all truly great stories are told in a trilogy and Avatar when you look at all that happens is quite a long trilogy, and I am one who can say I’ll never tire of watching the eps, the new avatar game is coming out soon too, which if anyone has seen the trailer is looking particularly excellent. Many people have asked for the sketches of what happened later in the story so here they are :

Now as is clearly visable this was merly an idea the creators had, but they decided against it, had this scene been at the end of season 3 Zuko would have been a father, and I notice Toph and Sokka not Sokka and Suki, oh well one can only guess. So although Aang is leaving us for now, you never know we might get some more Avatar but when the gang is older we just don’t know, but you never know. I couldn’t be more happy about Katang as it was truly the icing on the cake at the end, season 3 was mesmerising overall.
